Hi, I’m the new guy.
As you know, all promotions within Christian ministries are calls to greater service. For those of you who don’t know me, I have been associated with Tyndale Seminary for the past twenty years and have been one of the pastors of Tyndale Bible Church for the past thirteen years. Here, at the school, I have done virtually every job there is over these past years, the last few as Vice President, so I am intimately involved in the form, design and mission of our Biblical Institute and Seminary.
More importantly, I’m not alone. We have a great team of seasoned administrators and teachers to keep our students challenged and growing in their knowledge of God’s word.
None of us wanted to see Dr. Cone leave, but we all understand his reasons and pray for God’s guidance for him and his family. Life here at Tyndale however will go on without missing a beat. I have had the great delight of working closely with Dr. Cone for the past eight years and we have worked hard to make this transition as seamless as possible.
Although he is now ministering in Southern California, Dr. Cone will always be a part of the Tyndale family. In fact, he will remain with Tyndale as Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Bible and Theology.
As we do begin this new chapter, I ask for your prayers. In fact, I hope you pray for Tyndale on a regular basis as we work to keep the narrow way well lit for all who wish to travel the path toward greater knowledge of, and greater service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
May He continue to bless you richly for your support of Tyndale.
For His Greater Glory,
Patrick E. Belvill, Th.D
President
